Conservative treatment of teeth and endodontics

The aim of a conservative treatment is recovering from tooth decay and restoring the natural appearance of a tooth. When a cavity occurs we aim to remove it and construct a filling which is compatible with the morphology of the tooth in order to preserve its natural appearance. Our materials are both modern and of the highest quality. In cases where the cavity has spread to the root canal, endodontic treatment is necessary.

The goal of our treatment is to remove the nerve using specialized instruments and fill the root canal with proper materials. This minimizes the number of visits a patient needs to make to the dentist.

Pediatric and preventative dentistry

The health of children’s teeth begins during pregnancy. The best time for a first check-up at the dentist is after the first tooth comes out. The care of your children’s teeth should be entrusted to us. We have plenty of experience, knowledge and patience when working with children.

We pay special attention to motivating kids to maintain good oral hygiene and preventative fissure sealing of permanent teeth.

Mobile and fixed prosthetics

The lack of one, more or all teeth (edentulism) can be compensated for through fixed or mobile prosthetic restorations. This is done for both esthetic reasons and to functionally rehabilitate patients.

We offer the following prosthetic restorations:

  • Metal-ceramic crowns and bridges
  • Nonmetal crowns and bridges (zirconium)
  • Total and partial acrylic dentures
  • Skeletal partial dentures

Periodontology and Oral Medicine

Periodontology is a branch of medicine that deals with the treatment of the tooth supporting apparatus. This is one of the most important branches in modern dentistry. Periodontitis does not affect the tooth itself but rather the apparatus supporting the tooth, which is what gives a tooth stability and structure. By neglecting the proper course of treatment, the apparatus which supports the tooth weakens and disintegrates. As a result, a perfectly healthy tooth falls out.

Bleeding gums while brushing, or during any sort of provocation, numbness or the sensation of a foreign object between teeth, loosening or oscillation of a tooth could be a symptom of periodontitis. If you have any of these symptoms, talk to your dentist immediately.
